Art Toys - Initial Turn-Arounds
These images represent the initial turn-around sketches for my final art toy. The concept is that there is some sort of toy that has sat on a shelf or in a bargain bin for so long that a sentient mold has gotten into the box and taken over the toy, bringing it to life and causing it to begin to force its way out of the packaging. There are clearly some details I still need to work out, including the design of the box, as well as the specific identity of the figure and final shape of the mold. I am looking forward to hopefully making the figure and mold out of very different materials to accent the fact that they are not meant to be fused together in this way.
